High power - Papillary architecture, uniform cells with abundant cytoplasm

This is an uncommon variant of an uncommon tumour and is presented here as an rarity

Morphological features include;

  • Circumscription
  • Low power papillary architecture
  • Uniform oncocytic cells
  • Large prominent nucleoli

Prognostic features include;

  • Small
  • Confined to gland
  • Clear of margins

Management;

  • Surgical
