Dr David Clouston : Pathologist
Dr David Clouston

Dr David Clouston (MBBS, FRACP) undertook his medical and specialist pathology training in Queensland. Since moving to Melbourne he has worked in both public and private sector, including setting up and running his own pathology practice, Focus Pathology. David joined TissuPath in early 2013. He is a highly regarded expert in the areas of breast and urological pathology, and is actively involved in both research and education. In his spare time David is an appreciator and collector of contemporary Australian art.

Dr Andrew Ryan : Pathologist
Dr Andrew Ryan

Dr Andrew Ryan, MBBS (Hons), FRCPA graduated from Monash University in 1996. After a stint of surgical training, he undertook pathology training at Monash Medical Centre and the Alfred Hospital. Andrew has interest and expertise in urological, gastrointestinal, ENT and skin pathology, and has involvement in prostate, kidney and melanoma research. Andrew is a member of the RCPA Victorian state committee and head of the education sub-committee. Outside of TissuPath, Andrew dedicates time to his young family, his beloved Bombers and developing his guitar skills.

Dr Sam Norden : Pathologist
Dr Sam Norden

Dr Sam Norden, MBBS (Hons), FRCPA is a graduate of the University of Melbourne. Sam trained as a specialist histopathologist at the Geelong, Austin and St Vincent’s hospitals before joining TissuPath in 2010 in addition to a part time appointment at Box Hill hospital. Sam has expertise in numerous sub-specialities including urological and skin pathology. When he is away from his microscope Sam enjoys endurance sports, spending time with his young family, and is a long suffering Tigers supporter.

Dr Tim Nottle : Pathologist
Dr Tim Nottle

Dr Tim Nottle, MBBS, FRCPA, trained in histopathology at the Geelong and Box Hill hospitals after graduating from the University of Melbourne. He has undertaken specialist training in urological pathology under the guidance of renowned experts John Pedersen and Professor Ronnie Cohen. His other major interests include breast and gastrointestinal pathology. Tim is a mad Carlton fan, online gamer and long-distance runner.

Dr Helene Yilmaz : Pathologist
Dr Helene Yilmaz

Dr Helene Yilmaz, B.Sc(Med) MBBS, MPH, FRCPA graduated from the University of NSW in 2005. She conducted her training in anatomical pathology in both public and private laboratories in Sydney, including a six month rotation to The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Helene worked as a consultant histopathologist/cytopathologist at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology for over 4 years before relocating to Melbourne. She has a special interest in Uropathology. Helene has completed a Genitourinary Pathology Preceptorship at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio under the guidance of Dr. Cristina Magi-Galluzi. She is the current national convenor for the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs Urology Module, and has been a member of the RCPA NSW State Committee. She has a keen interest in research, and has been involved in publications of peer-reviewed journal articles. Helene enjoys teaching and previously held the position of Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney. She has also been involved in the USANZ Trainee week pathology teaching sessions.
